The outside profile changes the character of the sign before any letters are routed. Ovals and shallow arches give copy more room; shields and crests create stronger identity but reduce usable face area around their points and curves.
Use these profiles as starting geometry. Final production is based on the approved dimensions, border width, lettering and mounting plan—not on a generic template alone.

Yes. The library is a starting point; proportions, dimensions and border spacing can be adjusted on the production drawing.
Can I provide my own custom sign shape?
Yes. A clean vector perimeter is preferred. Fragile projections or deep notches may need adjustment for machining and exterior handling.
What materials can be used?
HDU is the normal choice for many carved exterior profiles, while other routed materials may be reviewed for specific applications.
Can you match our brand colors?
Yes. Provide an approved manufacturer color reference, physical sample or other controlled color target when matching matters.
How large can a shaped routed sign be?
Practical size depends on material, machine area, seam strategy, support, packaging and the installation plan.
Can I order only a raw or primed shape?
Yes. Machining-only, primed and fully finished scopes can be quoted.
